Email subscription changes

Starting in July 2021, Google has announced to stop the email subscription service powered by Feedburner. As we know that the "Follow By Email" widget on Blogger is powered by Feedburner which is owned by Google. That means any new post published on Blogger platform after June 2021 (including from this blog) will not be sent to the subscriber's email automatically.

For that reason, I moved the email subscription service on this blog to "Follow.it". Please click the Subscribe menu at the top to proceed. After that, an email will be sent to you asking for confirmation (please check your inbox). This is to ensure that you are the owner of the email and not mistype the email address.

The RSS or Atom feed is still working, so you are still can get update via the feed reader you are using. Hopefully Google is still kind enough to keep it up. Here is the default feed address for this blog:
Atom 1.0 = https://love-ely.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
RSS 2.0 = https://love-ely.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

Please let me know in the comments if what I'm doing here doesn't work. Thank you so much to subscribe to this blog.

    1. Hello Novri Yanti, thank you so much and welcome. Hopefully you are enjoy reading this blog. Despite I am an Indonesian blogger and some of my posts are related to Indonesia, but I am surprised that most of my audience was not Indonesian. I just checked the visitors status of this blog in the last 7 days, only 5% come from Indonesia. Seemingly this blog like a foreigner in its own country ;)

    2. Thank you for the warm welcome. No wonder if you have only 5% Indonesian visitor, since it is hard to understand the post if we don't fluent in English. Even me as well, I used google translate sometimes, lol.
Moreover, some people would feel awkward if talk to fellow Indonesians in a foreign language. But the good side, you have loyal visitor from other country.. I can say you are an international blogger.

  8. I prefer to follow a blog by entering the url manually via the blogger reading list because I rarely check email.

    1. That's also a good option. Most RSS reader application can be an option to read the contents of a website / blog.

Good wish

Brother Dasanrangarajan has very kind sharing a good contemplation through our discussion on Blogcatalog. I feel good after read it many times. I think, it's good if I share it here. I do not intend to bring you referring to a particular religion / belief, but only want to share the good things. Hopefully you will also feel good with the contemplation below: I asked Lord Krishna to do away with my vices. Krishna said: They are not there for me to take them away. They are there for you to resist them. I asked Lord Krishna to complete my body. Krishna said: Your spirit is complete, your body is only temporary. I asked Lord Krishna to give me patience. Krishna said: Patience is a byproduct (side products) of difficulties. It is not given but learned. I asked Lord Krishna to give me happiness. Krishna said: I give blessings. Happiness depends upon you. I asked Lord Krishna to free me of pain. Krishna said: Suffering makes you go far away from this world and brings you nearer to me. I ...

What a PhD mean for you

What is Ph.D.? Yes I know it is a prestigious academic degree. Only that? Hmm... I think NO . It's hard to describe it in words. You better focus on the illustration below: And... the things that made me fall silent is what was said by Matt, below: "If you zoom in on the boundary of human knowledge in the direction of genetics, there's something just outside humanity's reach. My wife and I chose to start funding these graduate students after we learned that our son has a rare, fatal genetic disorder. It may be too late for my son, but it's not too late for other children. Even one child suffering is one child too many. The only way to end this kind of suffering is science. And, the best way to do science is through graduate students." What a beautiful thought that touched my heart. Note: This work was originally from The Illustrated Guide to a Ph.D. by Matt Might.
