Message from hacker

I think, tapping in the cyber world is common, but tapping that conducted by a government to government is a serious matter. Do you agree?

  1. Well Tikno, you know what I'm going to write :): it's serious among friends, protests are in place, asking for explanations is almost mandatory, but let's not pretend spying is one-sided. So, instead of escalating , playing cool is the wiser strategy in my opinion. And, actually I think that official institutions ( secret services) spying on their own countrymen is the by far more serious offence Edward Snowden revealed.

    1. Perhaps, it could be on either side. But unfortunately Australia has been caught.
But anyway, I'm the type that is very respectful of the so-called privacy. I also oppose Internet censorship.
President has playing cool. I think... media is the source of anger with its teasing title and contents.

  2. I agree, particularly when both the countries involved are considered to be friendly neighbours. It is another story if it were between us and our neighbour :-)

HIV / AIDS - Shame Or Disease

The first known case of HIV in Indonesia was from a foreign tourist in Bali in 1987 and now has reached a level that is very concerned. According to State Minister of Development Planning / Chairperson of the National Development Planning Agency (Indonesian: Menteri Negara Perencanaan Pembangunan/Kepala Bappenas), Paskah Suzetta, in 2004, AIDS cases are only found in 16 provinces, but at the end of the year 2007 the same case was found in 32 provinces in Indonesia. There has been many studies on the obstacles in dealing with HIV disease. But in this post, I will see it from the viewpoint of social stigma in eastern culture. There is paradigm (in this case from my personal observation in Indonesia) that should be overcome particularly to the matters related to sexually transmitted disease, that is: Feel ashamed if infected by HIV because that was considered as venereal disease, therefore the sufferer tend to close himself. Feel ashamed to be considered as committing adultery. There is a...

Kartini's Day and Indonesian women

Raden Ajeng Kartini On April 21 each year the Indonesian nation commemorate Kartini's Day . Actually Kartini's Day is similar to Mother's Day (celebrated in Indonesia on December 22) or International Women's Day. Perhaps to understand Mother's Day you need to understand a person in your life called Mother, and for the International Women's Day and Kartini's Day perhaps you need to understand the person in your life called wife or sister. If you are underestimating women then firstly you need to look at your mother . Am I wrong? In short: That is all for women. In wider meaning: That is how these special Day to further raise the awareness of Indonesian society or even the world - especially the women themselves - about women rights, their struggle for equality, and their important role in various spheres of life. This is also an occasion for Indonesian women to review how far their struggle get acknowledgment especially from the point of view of Indonesian tr...

Children of War, Kurdistan, Iraq, Iran

First, I apologize to you all because no update for a long time. I'm very busy lately because I have to give time and thoughts to the company, for the life of many people involved in it, and to achieve our big goal. In this post I want to share a video clip that I found on YouTube. This video has touched my heart even though I do not understand its language, a proof that the art (picture, song or video) is universal. Many people said that a picture can reveal a thousand words, moreover a video. And I use this video as a MISSILE to shoot into your heart. So, DO NOT close your eyes and hopefully it can reach into your HEART. What? Human rights you said? Where is it? Ohh... I call every war is the stupid war whatever its reasons. And the most shocking video is a Palestinian father challenged Israeli soldiers to kill his young son. Proof that the war only leaves hatred. This young man was initially laughed at by the jury, but at the end of his performance he brought a very deep messag...
